The captain and defender for the Super Eagles, Kenneth Omeruo, stated his desire to succeed in the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic following the team’s heartbreaking loss to Mali in the AFCON semi-finals.
Omeruo stressed the team’s concentration and the chance for several players to make their World Cup debuts in spite of the loss.
