A Tragic Road Accident Claims Life in Anambra State, Nigeria
On March 5, 2024, a fatal road accident occurred near Azia junction in Ihiala, Anambra State. Two vehicles were involved:
a black Ford E-250 bus belonging to God is Good Logistics and a custom Nissan Caravan commercial bus. The Ford driver was speeding, lost control, and crashed into the back of the Nissan.
Tragically, one person died, eight were injured, and two were rescued unhurt. Prompt response by the Federal Road Safety Corps ensured medical attention for the victims.
The deceased was confirmed dead at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala. The FRSC towed the vehicles away, restoring normalcy to the area. Motorists are urged to drive safely and avoid excessive speed.
