Online Feud: Tems and Manager Clash with American Producer ATL Jacob
Nigerian singer Tems, known for her minimal controversies, and her manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, engage in a public dispute with renowned American producer ATL Jacob, accusing him of dishonesty.
Tems, usually quiet and previously criticized for her silence, surprises many with her online confrontation. According to Tems, the producer falsely claimed she refused to clear her original song, ‘Higher,’ which laid the foundation for their Grammy-winning track, ‘Wait for You.’
The producer further alleged that Drake, not Tems, initiated the clearance for the song, and during the Grammy Awards, he suggested Tems need not thank him for their victory.
Her manager corroborates these claims, urging people around the producer to assess his credibility, hinting at possible pathological lying.
In response, ATL Jacob challenges them to provide evidence of him speaking ill of Tems, suggesting a wire check. Tems pledges to double the money if he ceases spreading falsehoods.
ATL Jacob served as the producer for Tems’ Grammy-winning song featuring American artists Drake and Future.
