Pere criticizes past BBNaija winners, says voters are biased

Pere Egbi, a participant in the BBNaija reality show, has expressed his belief that past winners of the show did not merit their prizes. He suggested that their victories were due to emotional voting rather than rational decision-making by Nigerians.

He remarked that if the show had taken place in South Africa or America, the winners might have been different. Despite being on the show twice, Pere stated that he would decline any future invitations to participate.

In the latest episode of Celebrity Quickies, Pere reflected on his time in the Big Brother Naija house, describing it as a mix of experiences. However, he emphasized his reluctance to return, citing his perception of Nigerian viewers’ voting patterns as a factor.

“But if I was asked to go back in the [BBNaija] House again, I would not. Simply because I feel Nigerians are not ready for reality TV. A bunch of Nigerians who vote for these guys in these shows in Nigeria, especially, Big Brother, are just one-track-minded.

“I’m being honest, if this was a South African or American show, I don’t think the people who won will win.”
