Kebbi State Governor pledge Support for NSCDC

The Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, has promised to support the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to carry out its duties effectively in the state.

He made this pledge at the Passing Out Parade of 71 recruits and NSCDC World Day celebration in Birnin Kebbi. The governor commended the NSCDC’s efforts in fighting crime and announced a donation of N500,000 for a rifle handling competition during the event.

The NSCDC Commandant in Kebbi State, Kabiru Abubakar Alkamawa, urged the recruits to be efficient and productive in tackling criminal elements.

He emphasized that the recruits, all indigenes of Kebbi State, had undergone six months of training to prepare them for their duties.

The governor’s and NSCDC commandant’s remarks focused on the importance of collaboration and efficiency in addressing security challenges in Kebbi State.
