Man Charged with Stealing Three Cars Worth N9.8 Million in Lagos
A man named John Ukoh, aged 60, appeared in a court in Yaba, Lagos State, for allegedly stealing three cars. The total value of the cars is N9.8 million.
The Magistrate, O.Y. Adefope, ordered that Ukoh be kept in prison. The prosecutor, Haruna Magaji, said the crimes happened in November 2022 in Ajao Estate, Lagos.
Ukoh reportedly took a 2006 Toyota Sienna, a 2007 Toyota Corolla, and a 2006 Toyota Camry belonging to Mrs. Folake Brown without her permission. These actions are against the law.
Ukoh said he didn’t do it. Magistrate Adefope gave him bail of N1 million with two sureties. The case will continue on April 19, 2024.
