NIWA Mourns the Loss of General Manager, Alhaji Jibril Dardau
The General Manager of Corporate Affairs at the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Alhaji Jibril Dardau, passed away in Lokoja, Kogi State.
According to a family source, he collapsed and died shortly after leading morning prayers at the mosque on Friday, April 5, 2024.
The source mentioned that he had been managing high blood pressure for some time and had lost his most senior wife last year.
The news of his sudden death saddened the NIWA corporate headquarters in Lokoja. He was laid to rest at the Unguwan Power graveyard in Lokoja after Friday’s Juma’at prayer.
