Chairman of Kano Anti-corruption Commission Suspended Over Corruption Charges
The Chairman of the Kano State Anti-corruption and Public Complaints Commission, Alhaji Muhuyi Magaji, has been suspended by the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
This comes after he was charged with corruption by the Code of Conduct Bureau in November 2023.
The Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, ruled that Magaji cannot continue his duties while facing trial to prevent any interference.
The suspension is until the trial concludes. The case will be heard on May 7th and 8th, 2024.
