Lawmaker Philip Agbese Attacked During Constituency Engagement

Lawmaker Philip Agbese, representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency and also the deputy spokesperson of the House of Representatives, was reportedly attacked by hoodlums.

The incident occurred during his constituency engagement in Igumale, the headquarters of Ado Local Government area in Benue State, on Thursday, April 4.

According to reports, Agbese was participating in Easter festivities with his constituents when armed youths disrupted the event.

Fortunately, he escaped unharmed with the help of security personnel. Some of the attackers have been apprehended by security agencies, and an investigation is underway.
